Does your Parquetry wood floor look like this?

If you have an old reptilian floor that looks like this then you are a lucky devil!! You my friends have a ‘Mosaic parquetry floor’ and there are a few things to consider:

It is called mosaic parquetry and some have 5 ‘fingers’ of wood, others have 6 and some 7 fingers

It is directly adhered to the substrate i.e timber or concrete

It is in bad condition and needs TLC from a qualified floor sander

Repairs may be difficult due to avaliablilty of wood, so ask around

This wood is no longer avaliable except through us so speak to me, Ivan Kirton

It comes in different species

It will look beautiful once its cleaned up!!

Black butt wood flooring

Black Butt timber is a member of the eucalyptus family is and an Australian hardwood in plentiful supply. It is characterised by an even creamy colour and interesting wavy grain, that has cathedral shaped grain indispersed throughout. It is a hard and durable specie and is quite famous in australia. This is a world class timber with a distinctly Aussie flavour. Ensure you get these floors installed by professional people as a well installed and sanded timber floor will last a lifetime and add significant value to your home!
